Godd.......why are the figures so untrue..I pity the state of the journalist who is clueless that she has been fooled...IIM K had a poor placement season this yr..why inflate the avg..potential MBA aspirants are being blinded by the B-schools..

Hi Raj! Please do not misguide people with your in the air comments. If you have proof regarding the actual salary figures, please back them up with data. I am sure that is what you too are haranguing about. While it is true that the salary figures have a variable component attached to them, it is something which is there for all b-schools, then why single out any particular b-school for that. All b-schools quote the average salary figure inclusive of the variable pay. But this is only because the companies structure their CTCs this way nowadays and most of the people especially the guys from IIMs/XLRI and the likes are expected to and actually are able to earn a major portion of their variable pay. I am sure you cannot discount the quality of students and their ability to slog hard here. While I appreciate your concern for MBA aspirants, I found your comments in bad taste rather than being informative in any way. I will definitely support the cause of revealing the fixed and variable components of the CTC, but then one will have to go very deep into details as every company has a very unique salary structure. I am sure the average MBA aspirant will not be too concerned about that, and their decision to join a particular school will not be altered by this, as all colleges will be more or less on an even keel then also as they are now.

There is a lot of hype about IIMs.It is no wonder that these people have decided to compromise.

iims kozikode is a very good institute to provide edu. in the field of business, but my question is that do this institute make their repo in future bec now a days students have other option to carry their edu. in other fields. which is more cheaper than iims edu.
