Why are students talked down to in schools?

Posted by Poornima Mohandas at
Read it 5 times, write it 5 times. This is what every student has grown up hearing in school classrooms across the country as we perfect the art of learning by rote. And sadly nothing has changed in the vast majority of schools since the time you or I went to school, despite the heftier fees and plasma screens. I have seen the same thing as a student...
For our latest careers story in Mint, on How do I get my boss to stop taking credit for my work? I got to speak with textile designer Ritu Kumar.
