Among female singers, I remain partial to three Js and one G: Mitchell, Janis Joplin, Joan Baez, and Grace Slick. It&#39;s hard to pick one favourite. I like all of Mitchell&#39;s Blue. I think Joplin&#39;s Cry, Baby is outstanding. I love Baez&#39;s Billy Rose. And I love to test new speakers by playing Slick singing White Rabbit. <br />Back to the tribute -- this is what is has David Crosby saying of Mitchell: &quot;In a hundred years, when they ask who was the greatest songwriter of the era, it&#39;s got to be her or Dylan. I think it&#39;s her. And she&#39;s a better musician than Bob.&quot; I know this is kind of sacrilegious <span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:&#39;Times New Roman&#39;;"></span>, but I can&#39;t help but agree with Crosby.
