Bull shit Infosys Company .... I am an ex-employee and this ethicless company sacked me out of the Job saying you are a NOn-Performer. I got Most valuable player award, winner of Quiz 2008 etc etc...... Even today I am unable to understand why they have given me the awards and removed me from the Job on Non-performer criteria.

yep .. its true .. you won't be fired too easily if u get hired by infosys. how can i say this, u ask? well, i am an infoscion and i know what goes on inside. They will cut on quarterly parties or just on the party budgets, ask us to work 15 min extra everyday .. and give a teeny bit less incentive money, but they will try their best (and when i say best, i actually mean the bestest!) to not kick you out of home :)

Clicking on "Googlebot," the correct spelling of our web crawler, yields a search with nearly a million more results. Hi Sidin, That was pretty interesting. Thank you for bringing it to our attention; next time we want to know what Infosys is NOT doing, we know where to look at :-) Reminded me of this joke - A company, feeling it was time for a shakeup, hires a new CEO. This new boss is determined to rid the company of all slackers. On a tour of the facilities, the CEO notices a guy leaning on a wall. The room is full of workers and he wants to let them know he means business! The CEO walks up to the guy and asks, "And how much money do you make a week?" Undaunted, the young fellow looks at him and replies, "I make $300.00 a week. Why?" The CEO then hands the guy $300 in cash and screams, "Here's a week's pay, now GET OUT and don't come back!" Feeling pretty good about his first firing, the CEO looks around the room and asks "Does anyone want to tell me what that goof-off did here?" omg wow...is google like the crystal ball from fairy tales...can we ask google the solution to world peace...maybe google will gather itself and tell us something...or maybe we should try synonyms of firing like layoff...pink slip...i m sure u r getting the drift....and even a 5th grader knows that google knows a lot about a lot of things which we dont know or can imagine...

I like Infosys HR philosophy and feel that’s the way to go – a blend of capitalism with practical reality. It’s easy to fire employees when times are bad, doesn’t take any guts to do that. You need real leadership to say we will not fire. Infy does not fire employees, but through it’s policies ensures cost come down. That way there is no job loss, and families survive; though employees may no longer get goodies like free transportation / food / facilities or for that matter great salary increases or skyrocketing bonuses for top executives. Employees – hence families and society at large can live with these rather than facing a job loss leading to a huge disturbance at individual -> family -> society level.

Damn these IT guys, last known IT crunch (read Y2K) and firms hired like crazy! Banking/Finance crunch and you lose out on nice food. And then Friends and acquaintances from Bank of America and Citicorp send you forwards mocking the US Finance mess, blissfully ignoring the fact that they are not far away.
