Hi sushmita I thought you must already had a post on terrorism, but anyways, I feel like asking something: 1. With all this happening our netas had the audacity to come out on national tv and ask us to remain calm .. shudn't someone come out n say that ok, i screwed up and i accept the responsibility for all the attacks..?? 2. Another thing which is bothering me is where is the hardcore Maharashtrian raj thackeray? Someone pls ask him how many maharashtrians of his sena/party/whatever did actually go and help the victims or commandos? Did he even has the guts to just go and visit the Taj? 3. How abt Mr. Patil? Still changing dresses?

Yes, Pawandeep, absolutely. It's quite sick how ordinary citizens in India are always taken for granted -- and it's horrifying how terrorists with machine guns could actually find their way into hotels and open fire. What's happening with security in India, and why isn't there a proper anti-terror mechanism? How long will our politicians keep talking about lofty notions about terrorism and national security -- and not implement them? We cannot keep going just hoping nothing terrible happens. There has to be action taken.

countries like uk, us have offered their help and i think we should work in coordination with them who have better intelligence,to tackle this terror menace. we cannot fight this alone. Unity is strength.

Guys, we must use this blog as a platform, to condemn , the way our Mumbai has been attacked by the terrorists. It is really very unfortunate, and some foreign elements are trying to destablise our country. May God help those, who lost there dear ones.

Ashish, you were wondering abt woollen clothes for ur trip to Dubai: a jacket shd do nicely, the evenings are distinctly chilly. If you go to the desert, it gets quite cold after sunset (if u stay on for the belly dancing!). The days are very pleasant.

finally i got a glimpse of u. pl tell me also how to go to yr column. i just logged on to khaleej times and clicked 'columns' and found ms. bharkha dutt's. i meet my paperwala once in a month only when he comes to collect the money, otherwise he just come fastly (i will be busy at that time) and after throwing the paper just disappears.
