I'm stressed. My list of things to do before I leave is getting longer by the minute. See for yourself
Finish team appraisals
Ensure passports go to Delhi today so we can make the Peru visa deadline
Get yellow fever shot for Brazil
Bookings for Peru and New Zealand (delegate to husband)
Learn to blog
Learn to blog on the move. Every day.
Oh yes, move house.
Gent from packers' due to come over on Saturday morning to scope out our stuff
Pick up brother who is returning to India after eight years on Monday morning at 2am
Say bye to grandmom
Have farewell lunches and dinners with assorted close friends
Take the team out for a drink/meal
Activate BlackBerry international roaming
Squeeze in some time for a medical checkup/denist
Spend three hours at the salon on Sunday, April 13, the day of our departure
Plan some issues of Mint Lounge before I leave, try to do an interview for our Travel Special issue coming up on April 26.
Plan weekend trips out of Vancouver
Buy necessary add-ons for camera (delegate to husband)
Forex? Figure out how we're going to carry money on our travels. Visit the bank to figure out whether it's worth signing on for a Travel Card.
Stitch sari blouses. Most favoured cousin is getting married in Goa three days after we return and the only question my mother asks me every time she meets me is: "What will you wear?"
There's more but I can't remember. Too stressed. Until later.
