I would run this country like a corporate, a big, old and parental corporate, where all you can afford is to succeed and everything thay you have is at stake. Remember, It was a shallow one room business started by our forefathers who continually nurtured it and today it is a giant in motion with its peculiar strengths and weaknesses Let us run it like a big corporate business with all ministries as departments and citizens as its customers. Yes, the citizens would be customers to this business, they would be consumers of goods, products and services.

To fight the new age of brutal and globalised terror, we need to use modern technology of satellites, defence, software, and telecommunications among others. When terrorists were running up and down at VT station, if we had underground barriers of say 10 feet which could been brought overground to trap the terrorists, the mayhem would not have happened. These barriers are in place at the Parliament House in New Delhi. All important public places as well as private establishments should have such barriers. Even roads in major cities should have these.

If I were PM, I would first of all have a composite biometric ID card for every Bonafide Citizen (after honestly determining their citizenship), which would do away with all other cards, such as ration cards, election cards, etc. Get rid of all illegal immigrants forthwith on a non-negotiable basis. Ensure that we are all conscious of the fact that we belong to one nation, I would have a uniform civil code for everyone. For the detractors, who feel that this would take away religious rights, I would send a clear message that religion is a private.

It's no point blaming Pakistan. Pakistan or Pakistani elements (the same thing) did whatever they wanted to do. We need to decide our own course of action as a sovereign and independent nation. We need to work on all three fronts - improving security mechanism in India (Precaution), improving post crisis situation (Cure), and eliminating sources of terrorism (Prevention). It is just like what a patient requires from a doctor - 1. Precaution - just like a doctor will say take medicine and vaccine, wear full clothes, stay healthy; we need to improve.

As we all very well know that Pak Govt. is responsible for all these attacks. If I were the PM, I would have stopped all this within a maximum of one weeks time by using following few simple tactics: - 1. Break all Post and telegraphic connections between India and Pakistan. 2. Break All Phone & Fax connections. 3. Break all internet connections 4. Discontinue all flights going and coming from Pakistan 5. Seal your borders completely i.e. No train connections, no road connections. 6. No trade links or say direct hit on their brains. 7. No Darshan.

Dear All Hindustanis, I mean all religions people who are INDIANS. What I will do I were PM is, first of all I will try to make every one Mr Clean. That is I will try to wipe out the corruption From This ministry as well as our society. For this I will make some strong enforcements of law which will punish the person doing corruption in such a way that he will think 100 times or even more while doing it again. The root cause of corruption is our greed and selfishness. Following are some of the eligibilities I will enforce to be a minister in any.

The main causes for the problems faced by our country are corruption, unemployment and lack of transparency and accountability and total disregard for law of the land. The politics has spread its tentacles in all walks of life. As a result of which common man continues to suffer and rich and influential always get-away with whatever mistakes they commit. Indians basically lack patriotism. We show our patriotism only during cricket matches. I wish to suggest that the following steps should be addressed immediately to put our country on right track.

To handle the most terrifying terrorist attack on India, a lot was expected from the government, specifically from the PM, who unfortunately has not been able to justify the skills and the education that he has received from one of the best universities in the world. As a finance person, he was expected to take tough decisions with well defined steps. If were the PM in his place, I would do the following:- 1- CBM (confidence building measures):- The first and the foremost step for the public. Public lost all the confidence in the ability to handle.

In the current scenario, our Intelligence services has to be proactive. The Navy Radar has indicated the presence of Laksherya's ship in the sea region, and they informed the same to the Intelligence. Moreover the day when the group of terrorists started from Porebander to Mumbai..during that the coastal regions commandos were having their practises, and in between that terrorist managed to sweep..without letting 'em have any clue.Intelligence really needs to be more alert, specially after this incident. National Security Head (M.K.NARAYAN.

We have all criticized the system, the government, the neighbouring country and our house maid for not being able to come on that day. However, the competition in HT has made me think a bit deeper. It has made me look for a response, which may be effective in solving our problems. What would I do if I had the power, if I was the PM? I would first try and re-establish my authority. Government, because of its ineffectual activity has lost all confidence of the people. It is being endured because of the power it has. Ministers, whether state or central.

Terrorism can't be eradicated in a country where there is corruption, unemployment, poverty and illiteracy. Out of the 5 evils, corruption needs to be attacked first. To effectively do that our system of money transaction need to change from hard cash to complete electronic cash. Utilizing the technological / communication development country has achieved, will set up a banking system with a big server, where money can be transacted only by debit/credit cards, through mobile banking and cheque. All citizens including children need to provide.
